The tremor occurred at exactly 12:22 PM (Moroccan time), located 32 kilometers southwest of the historic Mashour Kasbah in the Marrakesh-Safi area.

However, residents in the area reported feeling the tremors, and there was a brief period of heightened concern among local populations. Early reports indicate that the tremor was felt in several areas within Marrakesh and surrounding regions, particularly those closest to the epicenter.
