Morocco has been selected to host the 58th session of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and the Conference of African Ministers of Finance, Planning, and Economic Development in March 2026.
The announcement was made on Friday during the expert session of the ongoing 57th UNECA Conference, held in Addis Ababa from March 12 to 18.
Morocco’s selection was unanimously approved without objection, reflecting the country’s strong reputation and commitmentto organizing high-profile continental events.
