The Premier League has officially announced the schedule for the Summer 2025 Transfer Window, implementing key adjustments to align with the FIFA Club World Cup calendar.
In an exceptional move, the window will open earlier than usual, with an initial registration period set from Sunday, 1 June to Tuesday, 10 June at 19:00 BST. This special phase is designed to allow participating clubs to register new signings ahead of the expanded FIFA Club World Cup.
After this preliminary window, the full summer transfer window will reopen on Monday, 16 June and continue through to Monday, 1 September at 19:00 BST.
These schedule modifications are intended to ensure fairness across the league, while granting clubs involved in international competitions sufficient time to strengthen their squads.
The FIFA Club World Cup 2025, featuring 32 teams from across the globe, will add a new layer of complexity to the summer calendar. Premier League clubs taking part are expected to face intensified scheduling and competitive demands.
The Premier League’s proactive approach seeks to balance global commitments with the integrity of domestic competition, reinforcing its role as a leader in modern football governance.
