Under the high patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid inaugurated the 30th edition of the International Book and Publishing Fair on Thursday at the OLM Souissi space in Rabat.
This year’s edition, held from April 17 to 27, 2025, features Sharjah as the Guest of Honor, emphasizing strong cultural ties between Morocco and the United Arab Emirates. The event brings together 743 exhibitors from 48 countries, offering a rich program of 243 cultural events ranging from book signings and panel discussions to children’s workshops and international literary showcases.
The fair also celebrates the Moroccan diaspora, honoring their literary contributions and strengthening their cultural connection to the homeland.
Organized by the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication, the fair affirms Morocco’s commitment to promoting reading and supporting the publishing industry as a cornerstone of cultural development.
